Congratulations on Camp Superfly Results |
October 5, 2008We are so pleased to announce that Hemophilia of North Carolina has placed 5th (out of 11) in our division for Camp Superfly this year. The honor (besides some bragging rights!) comes with a $3,000 Winner's Check, a Victory Party and a limited Edition Camp Superfly Gold medal for all who participated. Also, some of the Express Yourself entries will be displayed at NHF's Annual Meeting in November. This is a wonderful accomplishment considering the stiff competition in our division. As you may know, Camp Superfly is a program that was introduced by Baxter in 2005 to bring a virtual camp experience into the homes. We supported this program as an opportunity to have fun, learn and help HNC earn grant money for camp experiences. Our thanks to all those who took the time to complete the worksheets and submit them. Although there may have been some confusion in the count early on, the North Carolina Monarch results came in strong and we are grateful that your participation made this opportunity available to HNC! Congratulations and thank you again to all those who took part in this year's camp and be on the lookout for information about the Victory Party!
