HNC Adult Retreat

Friday-Sunday – August 28-30, 2015

Trinity Center

618 Salter Path Road
Pine Knoll Shores, NC 28512

Whether you're a parent, spouse or single, and living with a bleeding disorder, Hemophilia of North Carolina is pleased to offer a relaxing and informative weekend retreat for adults 18 and older. Each attendee may bring one (1) adult guest. The popular Trinity Center hosts a variety of exciting outdoor activities, with comfortable lodging and relaxing views.

We'll have plenty of free time for the beach on Saturday and will end the evening with a fun game of miniature golf (optional).

Programming at the Retreat will feature the following workshops:

  • Making a Great Impression – Leveraging tried-and-true approaches utilized by successful people every day, we'll discuss how to make an impactful first impression, demonstrating confidence, competence and credibility.
  • Win-Win Conversations – We'll offer strategies for managing the stages of effective persuasion, including ways to lay the groundwork for success, to resolve (or prevent) conflicts by finding common ground, and win-win solutions.

These topics are featured in a series offered by Biogen through the American Management Association. These programs present important life skills and are designed especially for members of the bleeding disorders community.

Registration for the HNC Adult Retreat is on a first come, first served basis. You are strongly encouraged to register early!
