HNC Family Festival & WalkThe annual HNC Family Festival & Walk is coming soon! This year we are again having TWO Festival Walk events in different parts of the state. See below for complete information and downloadable resources. How This Works: The HNC Family Festival & Walk is a team based fundraising effort. In fact, it's really a big team of teams, all working in friendly competition to raise funds for HNC. Teams come in all flavors – families and friends, workplace groups, church and community groups – you name it. Anyone can start a team, anyone can join a team. Team members are encouraged to either make a donation, or raise funds on their own, or both. Monies raised or donated by individual team members also add to their team's total. On Festival day there are gleaming trophies awaiting the individuals and teams with the highest fundraising totals. There are also the coveted King Droplet, Queen Droplet, and Junior Droplet honors awarded to the individual fundraisers who went above and beyond the call of duty in their fundraising efforts. Come join us now! Check out our How to Register guide. With the Raleigh area event now in its 12th year and the Charlotte event now in its fifth, we have seen some pretty fierce team rivalries develop. Maybe your team will be the upstart this year. The main thing is that we all have a great deal of fun. The real winners are HNC and the bleeding disorders community in North Carolina.
Overview and General InformationWhat: The Hemophilia of North Carolina (HNC) Family Festival and Walk is HNC's largest fundraising event of the year. Since 2007, this effort is dedicated to preventing the complications of bleeding disorders. The proceeds will help our organization continue to provide programs and services to our North Carolina community. Who and Why: HNC has been assisting the bleeding disorders community in the state for over 40 years. We support families through ongoing educational programs, peer support groups, patient advocacy, emergency financial assistance, scholarships and support for summer camps that our children attend.
