Join us for a special webinar to get you excited for the Charlotte Festival & Walk! The webinar will kick off with a short introduction from GRIFOLS, the Charlotte Festival & Walk Presenting Sponsor, about how plasma is being used in the fight against COVID-19. Many community members know the importance of plasma in the treatment of bleeding disorders...now it is providing answers in the fight against the coronavirus. Then, make sure you have your comfy clothes on because it’ll be time to have some Fitness Fun with Dr. Mike! We’ll get ready for the virtual Charlotte Walk together by doing some strengthening exercises and stretches. There will also be the opportunity for some Q&A. Dr. Mike works with the bleeding disorders community around the country, so bring your questions! Dr. Michael Zolotnitsky, PT, DPT, was born in Italy, grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and currently resides in Morganville, NJ. He received his doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA and currently works as the Clinical Director at NJ Spine and Wellness Sports Medicine. He also has a special connection to the bleeding disorders community as a person living with hemophilia. This event will be held through the Zoom platform. Once you register, you will receive information, including a link to join the Zoom meeting. If you have any questions about using Zoom, please let us know. Please register by Wednesday, June 24, 2020. If you have any questions, contact the HNC Office at events@hemophilia-nc.org, or by phone at 919-319-0014. Return to Recent Events page |
