VIRTUAL EVENT

Registration for this event is Closed.

Hemophilia of North Carolina's (HNC) popular Family Retreat is going virtual this fall! Although we are not going to be able to get together in person, we are planning a fun event for the entire family. All educational programs are geared towards families who have children diagnosed with a bleeding disorder.

Sessions will take place the evening of Friday, September 11; in the morning and early afternoon on Saturday, September 12; the afternoon of Sunday, September 13; the evening of Thursday, September 17; and the afternoon of Sunday, September 20. All sessions will take place on HNC’s Zoom platform. Zoom allows you to sign in from your computer, cell phone, or tablet. There will be time to connect with other families using this feature. Some of the activities already planned for the kids include tie-dying and a fun science experiment to see how blood clots. Other sessions are being planned for parents and children and will be announced soon.

All families who attend will receive an egift card that can be redeemed for DoorDash, Grubhub, or Uber Eats. Please indicate in your registration which egift card you would like.

We hope that you will be able to attend all sessions. However, we understand that since the event is on multiple days spread over more than a week, you may have commitments that prevent you from attending all sessions. If you don't think you will be able to attend each day, please indicate this in the comments section of your registration.

Registration is required by Monday, September 7, 2020. Applicants will be accepted on a first-come first-served basis. Priority will be given to those who have a child with a bleeding disorder and to those not affiliated with a specialty pharmacy, home care, or pharmaceutical company that caters to the bleeding disorders community.

If you have any questions, contact the HNC Office at events@hemophilia-nc.org, or by phone at 919-319-0014.
