2013 HNC Holiday Celebration
Saturday, December 7, 2013
Hemophilia of North Carolina is grateful to the following sponsors for their ongoing support of the bleeding disorders community, and for their generous contribution which made it possible for us to host this event at no cost to HNC member families.
A Celebration of Caregivers
Our annual end of year celebration is just around the corner, and we hope you will join us! All HNC members and their immediate families are invited to attend this event, free of charge. We’ll start at the annual Morrisville Winterfest Parade and Holiday Craft Show. Then we’ll head to the nearby Four Points by Sheraton Raleigh Durham Airport to enjoy a delicious afternoon lunch buffet and take time to relax before the hectic holiday season arrives. Come out and hear from a few of your fellow HNC members as they honor their caregivers. As we all know, the caregiver’s responsibility is immense and requires a lot of love and patience. We want to honor all the caregivers in our community and what better time than the holidays to do so!
We’ll also have an opportunity to hear from Gillian Schultz about HNC’s HOPE Program. HOPE is an education and support program for families with children age 12 and under who are affected by a bleeding disorder. Gillian is the volunteer HOPE Program Coordinator. She’s also a mom of two, and is herself a caregiver.
Craft projects and games will be available for the children along with a special visit from Santa!
This year we invite families to join us for the Town of Morrisville’s Winterfest Parade and Craft Fair! The parade will begin at 11am the Morrisville Chamber of Commerce (and the HNC office!) and end at Treybrooke Drive, which is less than a 5-minute walk to the craft fair at the Cedar Fork Community Center,1050 Town Hall Drive, Morrisville. After browsing the crafts, you can head on over to the HNC Holiday Celebration!
A Season to Give Back – We’d like to use this opportunity to help others in the NC community. This year we’re asking attendees to bring canned food for a local Salvation Army. We will have boxes for the canned goods at the registration table when you arrive at the event. Thank you!
If you have questions about the event, please contact Charlene Cowell, HNC Executive Director, at (800) 990-5557 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
