Winter Wonderland at the Castle & Giving Back

Unpack your jacket and come join us at Hemophilia of North Carolina's 2015 Holiday Celebration! Each year, we look forward to spending the first Saturday of December with all of the families and individuals that make this organization unique. It’s a day to reflect on all of the accomplishments we’ve had in the past year, like a successful first Charlotte Walk, and to enjoy each other’s company for a few hours.

The party will be held in Jamestown, NC (right outside of High Point) at the charming Castle McCulloch! Enjoy lunch, crafts for the kids, and take a photo with Santa & Mrs. Claus! This year we’re going to schedule a little time into the event to meet one another and share some laughs using fun and quick games. Afterwards, Santa and Mrs. Claus will meet each child as they hand out presents (newborn to 18 years), and captivate the entire audience with some holiday stories.

We are very pleased to have Anita Smith, PNP, as our guest speaker. Anita is the Hemophilia Program Coordinator at Wake Forest University’s Hemophilia Treatment Center.

Giving Back – In keeping with our holiday theme of “Winter Wonderland at the Castle & Giving Back”, we want the Holiday Celebration to be an opportunity for the bleeding disorders community to help others. In support of Save One Life, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of people around the world who are affected by bleeding disorders, we are asking that each person attending please bring along a new toothbrush and/or travel-size toothpaste. (Don't forget to ask your dentist, he or she may have a few to spare!)
