Join Hemophilia of North Carolina for a day just for community members with von Willebrand disease! Learn about the genetics of VWD, VWD through life's stages, and what treatment options there are for people with VWD. There will also be a fun, interactive activity that you don't want to miss.

10:00am-10:30am  Welcome and Introductions.
10:30am-11:15am  VWD: Not the Little Sister of Hemophilia – Kelly Gonzalez, Senior Education Specialist with BioMatrix Specialty Pharmacy.
11:15am-12:00pm  Industry Open House – meet our sponsors.
12:00pm-1:00pm  Lunch*
1:00pm-2:00pm  VWD Treatments – Ashley Hinson, MD, Pediatric Hematologist at the HTC of Levine Children's.
2:00pm-2:30pm  VWD: What Do You Want to Know? – Speaker TBA.
2:30pm-3:15pm  AR Workshop – wood painting project.
3:15pm-3:30pm  Wrap-up and Closing Remarks.
