Expect the Unexpected

Thursday, February 18, 2021 – 7:00pm-8:00pm

VIRTUAL EVENT

This event is over.

Join Hemophilia of North Carolina for a Takeda Hello Talk, Expect the Unexpected: Prepare for Anything, presented by Betsy Koval, Senior Clinical Specialist with Takeda.

Emergency room staff, including physicians, may have little experience in the management of patients with bleeding disorders because they are rare conditions. This presentation will help you avoid and prepare for a possible trip to the ER, anytime, anywhere – even when traveling or during a natural disaster.

Whether you are a parent of child with a bleeding disorder or you have a bleeding disorder yourself, this session is for you. Bleeding disorders are unpredictable and we want you to be prepared in case of an emergency.

Everyone who attends this event will receive a gift card for DoorDash, GrubHub, or Uber Eats ($15 per person, $40 max per family).

Please register by Wednesday, February 17, 2021. If you have any questions, contact the HNC Office at events@hemophilia-nc.org, or by phone at 919-319-0014.
